Charities - How It Works

What does a charity partnership involve?

When you partner with A Noble Gift, your charity is listed as a cause supported by donated gifts. Every gift on the platform is donated - either by a brand partner, or by a charity partner directly. In either case, 100% of the purchase price goes to the donor's chosen charity, with the buyer paying a platform fee that assists with funding and running the platform.

As a charity partner, you can participate in two ways: as a passive beneficiary (when your charity is chosen by the donor as the beneficiary of a gift) and as a donor (uploading your own gifts to the platform to actively drive fundraising for yourself). Many charity partners do both.

You'll have your own Charity Partner Page on A Noble Gift, which brands browse when selecting who to support out of our existing partners. Once onboarded, you'll also have access to the VMS (our partner portal), where you can manage your page and upload gifts.

Please note: You must be a UK Registered Charity to partner with A Noble Gift and benefit from Auction proceeds.

The onboarding journey at a glance

Here's what the full process looks like from start to finish:

Start the onboarding form

Provide your charity details via our onboarding form. The form collects all the information we need to build your partner page on our platform.

Connect Stripe

Connect a Charity Stripe Account (new or existing) to A Noble Gift's Stripe Account, allowing your charity to receive transfers from gift proceeds. Please see Connecting Your Stripe Account → for further information.

Review by A Noble Gift

Once you've submitted your Onboarding Form, our team reviews your submission and approves your account. We check and confirm your charity registration details and ensure your partner page is ready to go live. In the meantime, Stripe will review your Connect Form and be in touch if anything further is required.

Sign your Charity Agreement with A Noble Gift

You will then be sent a generic Charity Agreement on DocuSign. Once this is signed, your Account will be approved.

Receive your VMS login

Once approved, you'll receive an email to set up your password and access the partner portal - your VMS account. From here you can manage your page, upload gifts, and track fundraising activity.

Your charity goes live

Your partner page becomes visible to buyers on A Noble Gift. You can now upload gifts, with 100% of the winning bid supporting your charity.

Before you start

Before submitting your onboarding form, it helps to have the following to hand:

Your registered charity name and website
A short description of your charity and the work you do
Your charity logo (as a high-resolution image file)

Can any charity partner with A Noble Gift?

Any UK Registered Charity can become a Charity Partner with A Noble Gift.

What are the steps to becoming a partner?

To become a Charity Partner, you must submit a Charity Onboarding Form and connect a Stripe account to A Noble Gift. Once both of these steps are reviewed and approved by our team, you are ready to go.

Does A Noble Gift charge charities an upfront fee to host an auction?

There is no cost for the charity to use the platform - they simply receive the full proceeds of the successful winning bids (save for any third party payment processing fees).

There are a few people in our charity who we would like to be able to upload Gifts to A Noble Gift - can we have multiple user logins for one charity?

Yes - as many people as you like can have accounts to the VMS, allowing them to edit the partner page, add, edit, and manage drafted Gifts, and view the performance of current Auctions and Prize Draws.

For example, one person could start uploading a Gift and save the draft without images - another user with an account could then log in, upload the images, and submit for approval.
